Twelve electric car charging spaces will be coming to The Westin Dallas Southlake Hotel.
At an April 19 meeting, the Southlake City Council unanimously approved a specific use permit to allow six dual-charging ports to be added to the parking lot of the hotel, located at 1200 E. State Hwy. 114.
The chargers will be adaptable to all electric vehicles and will not be specific to models like Tesla, said Ken Baker, director of planning and development services.
The stations will be used for charging cars for hotel guests specifically, according to city documents.
