App for Grapevine residents rebrands to Recycle Coach

Grapevine residents who have used the My Grapevine app will need to download a new app. Changes to the Apple App Store review guidelines have required Recycle Coach to separate from the My Grapevine app, according to a city news release. As a result, the My Grapevine app will be discontinued and taken off the iOS/Android stores June 14.

In its place residents can download the Recycle Coach app, which will have the same functions as the My Grapevine app, according to the news release. These include the trash/recyclables collection schedule, bulk trash pickup dates, events calendars and the problem-reporting tool to alert municipal customer services about problems, such as missed collections.

My Grapevine users will receive special messaging with their collection reminders notifying them to update to Recycle Coach in the coming weeks.
