At the June 6 Grapevine City Council meeting, several items were presented as potential bond projects.

Those projects included a new animal shelter, two new fire stations, extending Heritage Avenue from Mustang Road to SH 26, a Heritage Avenue bridge, improvements to Euless-Grapevine Road between Hughes Road and SH 360, and raising Dove Road so that the roadway does not flood when the lake spills over.

Due to strong opposition from residents on Heritage projects, a public hearing will be set specifically for those projects.

The last day to call for a November bond election is Aug. 21. If called, Election Day is Nov. 7.
