Due to the large size and number of uses in the shopping center, the property owner of Town Center Colleyville requested the amendment be made as he said directory signage will help customers locate the specific businesses situated within the development. "I'm glad to see us do this," Council Member Mike Taylor said. "I think for this center this [is an added value as it will] keep traffic moving and circulating." The development, which fronts Colleyville Boulevard, is approximately 275,000 square feet and contains a mix of retail, restaurant, office and other commercial uses. Some of the businesses include Studio Movie Grill, Market Street, Jumpstreet and Costa Vida. The owner of Town Center Colleyville will be installing four directory signs throughout the shopping center. Currently, Colleyville does not have any other shopping centers that are at least 200,000 square feet.
