The school district is accepting applications for Place 6 on its board of trustees because of the resignation of Matt Kormann. He served one three-year term and was re-elected in May to another three-year term. He resigned because of his family relocating out of state.

The board is accepting applications until noon on June 20. The term will be a one-year appointment until the next election in May 2017, and then the individual can decide whether to run to serve the final two-years of the term.
