Outdoor sports clothing store Eddie Bauer will be closing its location in Southlake Town Square.
Store management said the store will be open until the end of April, but could close sooner, depending on the liquidation of the store.
The store sells outerwear, apparel and accessories, according to the website. Items remaining at the Southlake store are priced 40% to 60% off, according to signs inside and outside the store.
According to a social media post, Eddie Bauer was one of the original stores when Southlake Town Square opened in 1999.
The company will soon close after its operating company, Eddie Bauer LLC, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to Eddie Bauer LLC's representation.
Eddie Bauer founded Bauer’s Sports Shop in 1920 and the company has offered outdoor sporting goods for more than 100 years. The company's mission, according to the website, is to inspire, enable and empower people to experience the outdoors and live their adventure.
Eddie Bauer has been under the umbrella of Catalyst Brand since a merger between JCPenney and SPARC Group in January 2025, according to a news release.
Catalyst Brand operates Aéropostale, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Lucky Brand and Nautica. According to a news release, Catalyst previously operated Forever 21, which was closed in 2025 and Reebok, which it sold to Galaxy Universal.
