Prayers and Pilates will be opening in Colleyville mid-July, according to a news release from the business.

Prayers and Pilates is a faith-based reformer pilates studio that combines prayer, pilates classes and infrared light therapy, the news release states.

Erica Carter, the studio's founder and chief executive officer, said the pilates studio will open July 12 in the Tara Village shopping center with a preview event. Visitors can see the newly constructed venue, have snacks and partake in giveaways.

“I grew up in Bedford and fondly remember visiting the shopping destination with friends and family when I was growing up," Carter said. "It truly feels like a full-circle moment and I can’t wait to open our doors to Colleyville and the surrounding community.”


Carter has another studio in Roanoke, which opened in October 2024, according to previous reporting.

“We are truly blessed to have seen such amazing support in the Roanoke community," Carter said. "So many clients have walked in and out of our studio having a need for physical and spiritual wellness. Creating that sanctuary for people to combine faith and fitness has truly been a journey led by God.”
