Pause Studio is now bringing light therapy and float lounge spaces to Southlake.

The details

The studio is a Los Angeles concept that is is owned by husband and wife Erin and Chris Kobus. The Southlake spot is the brand's first Texas location and offers supplemental therapies for overall wellness.

"It is really customizable for the person and how they're feeling that day, what benefits they want, how they want to feel when they leave," Erin Kobus said.

The IV lounge and compression area offers IV drips and vitamin shots to help promote sleep or muscle recovery while the chronic therapy space lets guests spend several minutes in cold air for muscle recovery and lowering inflammation, General Manager Ashley Memmoll said.

The studio also has a self-controlled float tank, which has salt water that is good for the skin and helps detox the body in a weightless atmosphere, she added. The tank has music and lights that the guest can control.

What else?

Pause Studio has a medical-grade red light therapy room with three light wave lengths for different needs including helping the muscles relax or evening the skin tone, Memmoll said.

Four rooms have a private sauna and cold plunge for individuals who'd like to experience a 48 degree plunge with a guided breath work to help relax muscles and lower inflammation.

These rooms also include a shower and can be rented out for 30 minutes to an hour.
