Kumon offers supplemental tutoring for ages 3 to adult. The program focuses on math and reading and is designed to help students develop strong academic skills through self-learning and daily practices, Center Director Shammina Hussain said.
The program gives students an early learning foundation to establish reading fluency, build number sense and develop handwriting skills, Hussain said.
She added it also establishes self-discipline and confidence in students to problem solve while learning at their own speed.
