A Southlake company is set to have a new owner later this year.

What happened

Public Policy Holding Company, Inc. announced in a Jan. 27 news release it will close on a binding agreement to acquire TrailRunner International, which was founded in 2016.

PPHC, based in Washington, D.C., handles government relations and public affairs and will close the deal April 1 with the acquisition of TrailRunner, which handles strategic and financial communications. The cost of the transaction was not announced in the news release.

TrailRunner has an office within VariSpace Southlake. According to the news release, there are 80 employees across eight locations in the United States.

PPHC has a portfolio of more than 1,200 corporate clients, including nearly half of the Fortune 500, and many leading trade organizations, non-profit institutions and government entities, according to the release.
