Walmart officials unveiled renovations and an expansion to its Grapevine location off of SH 114 Nov. 1.

The details

The Bentonville, Arkansas-based company changed several parts of the store during the expansion. Store Manager Greg Allen said only one department stayed in its previous location after the renovations wrapped up in October. He said thanks to the changes, there is more space for products and shoppers.

Before the ribbon-cutting, Allen mentioned notable changes for the "store of the future" redesign include:
  • A new grab-and-go section
  • Renovated apparel section
  • Expanded deli and produce
  • Expansion of grocery pickup and delivery
  • Remodeled auto center
  • Mother’s room
  • New community-focused food and merchandise offerings
  • New signage
  • Relocated pharmacy to the front of the store
  • Updated cosmetics area
“Our customers are going to love the enhanced shopping experience in our store that will help them save more time and money when they shop with us,” Allen said. “We are looking forward to showing members of our community all the new features this weekend.”
