Caleb Gonzalez says the studio will offer piercings with options such as titanium, 14K gold, white gold and lab-grown diamonds. He said the business will offer piercing services for ears, eyebrows and nose with the jewelry a customer wants instead of a surgical steel kit that requires time to heal before switching out jewelry.
Pierce will also offer digital curation, which is taking a photo of the person’s ear or face to show options for how jewelry will look.
“We are familiar with Tarrant County, and we picked Southlake because piercing has shifted toward more fashion-conscious, young professionals,” Caleb Gonzalez said. “They like wearing fine jewelry in the workplace, and we didn’t feel that anyone offers what we offer. Southlake, Grapevine and Colleyville have the type of clientele that will appreciate this.”
The Gonzalez brothers and Peterka bring nearly 40 years of combined experience in piercing and customer service running Ink817 Tattoo Co. in Fort Worth.
The new venture is moving into the location formerly occupied by iVBars of Southlake.
