MacDaddy’s, a Carrollton-based business, is opening a new location in Grapevine.

The Grapevine City Council approved a zone change and concept plan for the business during the April 16 meeting. The company will sell and service Apple electronics products such as MacBooks, Apple watches, iPads and other Apple accessories and will offer technical support and repairs on Apple and other computers, according to city documents.

Owner Kirk Porter said the business often gets referrals for service from area Best Buy stores and Apple stores.

The Grapevine location will occupy a space that formerly housed a Bank of America location.
