Origin Bank opened for business on Feb. 27 at 1110 E. Southlake Blvd. in Southlake, according to a spokesperson for the Louisiana-based company.

The business was founded in 1912 in Ruston, Louisiana, and operates more than 50 financial service centers in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. There are 12 locations in Texas, and the addition of the Southlake location is one of five in the Fort Worth area, according to the website.
