Abbott announced the partial lifting of business restrictions that were put in place due to COVID-19. This new executive order allows for retail storefronts to offer pickup and delivery services.
"We are now beginning to see glimmers that the worst of COVID-19 may soon be behind us," Abbott said during the April 17 press conference. "Texas has the second-most recoveries out of all states in America.”
