The 38th Annual GrapeFest was held in downtown Grapevine from Sept. 12-15.

The event featured live music, wine experience, vendors and games.

According to festival officials, the four-day event brought in thousands of attendees and dozens of local Dallas-Fort Worth area businesses set up shop on Main Street, which was closed from Dallas Road to Northwest Highway.

The event provided photo opportunities throughout the one-mile stretch, including signs and a phone booth. Volunteers manned wine and beer tents along Main Street. Legoland Discovery, Meow Wolf Grapevine and Grapevine Sea Life Aquarium were present for giveaways and activities.


The details

The Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau announced the winners from the People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic on Sept. 16. The event took place in the Cotton Belt Railroad District and is the largest consumer-judged wine competition in the country, according to the news release.

The winners are listed below followed by town(s):"I always loved Texas wines and to be here with some many wineries that I respect so much, it's really an honor," The Pour Girl owner Jessica Wortham said in a news release.
