Runway Theatre is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its first season this fall in Grapevine.

The nonprofit provides live community theatre and features a board of directors who are all volunteers, according to the website.

The first full season was 1984-85 with the production of "Heaven Can Wait" in the fall of 1984. This year’s show is "Go Back For Murder," a play from crime author Agatha Christie. The play is a new take on a traditional mystery based in England, where a daughter tries to figure out who murdered her father, according to the website.

The play will run from Sept. 27 to Oct. 13 and tickets are currently on sale.
