Gameway has re-opened the Gameway Ultra gaming lounge inside Terminal E at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The first-ever location for the business was at DFW Airport, taking over a seating area in 2018 to turn it into a gaming lounge. Gameway now has a locations in Terminal E and B.

Following terms in its lease agreement, the business did a "refresh," according to Geena Martin, Gameway’s director of business development and strategic partnerships. The spot closed for three months before a grand opening ceremony.

The lounge offers:
  • Xbox games
  • PlayStation games
  • PC gaming
  • Retro games
  • Snacks and drinks
Martin said travelers can buy a pass for 30 minutes and up to all-day passes, if they have a lengthy layover.

Gameway has six locations across the country, with two in DFW Airport and two at Los Angeles International Airport and other spots at Houston’s William B. Hobby Airport and Charlotte’s Douglas International Airport.

“Airports are changing how they connect with millennials and Gen Z travelers,” Martin said. “They have struggled to do so for long and this has been well received.”
