July 9 through Aug. 20: Visit Quanah Parker exhibit at town hall


A Quanah Parker photo exhibit “One Man, Two Worlds” will be on display in the Southlake Town Hall lobby. Hosted by the Southlake Historical Society, the exhibit includes photos of Cynthia Ann Parker and her Comanche son Quanah. A reception will be from 4-6 p.m. July 24 at Town Hall and feature Quanah’s great-great-grandson Lance Tahmahkera, who will share stories. Bicyclists meet every Wednesday evening to explore some of Grapevine’s trails on this social road ride hosted by Hop & Sting Brewing Company. After the ride, attendees will head back to the brewery for a beer.
