Grapevine's Nash Farm, which recreates life on a 19th century working homestead, is hosting three events in July.
A Patriotic Picnic as part of its First Fridays at the Farm Series will be from 10 a.m.-noon July 1. The event includes lawn games and refreshments. Attendees are invited to bring along a picnic. Tickets are $5 for those ages 3 and older. Nash Farm is located at 626 Ball St. in Grapevine. Click here for tickets.
Bluegrass at the Settlement will be from noon-4 p.m. July 2. This free event features jam sessions at the Settlement to City Museum Park, located at 206 W. Hudgins St., Grapevine.
A 1920s Ice Cream Social will start at 7 p.m. July 9 at Nash Farm and go until dark. The event includes hand-cranked homemade ice cream and Victorian lawn games. The Lone Star String Band will perform old-time music. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, quilts and picnics. Tickets are $10 per person for ages 3 and up. Click here for tickets.
