Professional mermaids will perform underwater in the aquarium’s ocean display alongside ocean animals such as sharks and sea turtles, according to a news release.
Visitors can also meet and mingle with mermaids, take photos and receive mermaid makeovers. The mermaids will also educate visitors on how to take care of the oceans by recycling and reducing plastic waste.
The mermaid exhibit will take place on Fridays-Sundays each weekend through May 29. Underwater performances will happen each day from 10:30 a.m.-noon and 2-4:30 p.m. Mermaid meet and greets will take place each day from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Mermaid makeover packages are available Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 10 a.m. and happening in 45-minute increments until 4:15 p.m. Tickets for general admission are free for children age 2 and under and $23.99 for age 3 and up. Mermaid makeovers, available for children ages 3-12, cost $79.95.
