May 8: Spend Mother’s Day at an Elvis Gospel Brunch

May 8: Watch a ballet performance


Ballet is making its debut at the Plaza at City Hall. The Avant Chamber Ballet is holding its Spring Celebration—a free performance that brings live dance and chamber music together. The performance includes works by choreographers Katie Puder, Eugene Barnes III and Marius Petipa. Pianist Mikhail Berestnev accompanies the dancers from the ballet and its trainees. May 14: See a 19th century game of baseball

Baseball fans can watch an 1860s style vintage baseball game at Nash Farms. Teams will make the experience more authentic by playing with no gloves and historic uniforms. May 20-22: Try some new brews


The 38th annual Main Street Fest in Grapevine is a three-day event featuring 80 craft brews to taste. Attendees can purchase additional passes to the Craft Brew Garden, a tasting event featuring eight limited release brews with a souvenir glass. The event will also feature live entertainment, carnival games and more. 5-11 p.m. (May 20), 11 a.m.-11 p.m. (May 21), 11 a.m.-6 p.m. (May 22). $9 (adult general admission), $5 (ages 6-12, and age 62 and older general admission), $15 (Craft Brew Garden admission in advance), $20 (weekend pass); children get in free on May 22. May 21: Visit the Colleyville City Fair

The city of Colleyville will be hosting its inaugural city fair. The event will feature carnival rides, face painting, stilt walkers, a petting zoo, food trucks, balloon artists, a pie eating contest and more.
