TxDOT interactive gaming truck visits Grapevine vs. Birdville football game
Texas Department of Transportation's Friday Night Tour makes a stop at the Grapevine vs. Birdville football game 5-7 p.m. at the Mustang-Panther Stadium, 3000 Ira E. Woods Ave., Grapevine. The tour features the Texas Road Watchers interactive game truck, which features a 60-second video game that challenges players to identify unsafe driving behaviors and prompts them to change their own driving habits to avoid crashes.

Last day to early vote
Friday is the last day to early voting before Election Day, Nov. 8. Polling locations are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. During early voting, voters can vote at any Tarant County early voting location. Grapevine, Southlake and Colleyville locations can be found here.

Grapevine's Candlelight Tour of Homes
The 10th annual Candlelight Tour of Homes will begin at 4 p.m. at the Ted R. Ware Plaza, 206 W. Hudgins St., where wristbands can be purchased, tour books obtained and a complimentary wine tasting from Homestead Winery enjoyed. This year’s tour includes homes on East and West College Street, East Franklin Street and East Worth Street, along with a business located on Main Street. Tour participants can walk the tour route and also ride the complimentary shuttle buses that will be circulating throughout the event. The Candlelight Tour of Homes ends at 7 p.m., and the cost is $15 per person.

Health and Beauty DIY Workshop

Learn how to make health and beauty products using a few ingredients at this adult heritage education workshop from 10 a.m.-noon at Nash Farm, 626 Ball St., Grapevine. Products made include lip balm, deodorant and body scrubs. Registration is required and participants must be age 16 years or older. Entry is $20.
