Classes in Frisco ISD schools will not be in session Feb. 24 due to inclement weather, the district announced.

FISD buildings will be closed for instruction and business due to anticipated inclement weather and poor road conditions, according to the announcement. After-school and evening activities scheduled for Feb. 23-24 are also canceled.

Parents with students in Alphabest or YMCA after-school programs will need to pick up students from campuses by 5 p.m., according to FISD.

The district announced it will use its "bad weather makeup day" on April 25. All FISD schools were closed on Feb. 3-4 for inclement weather.

“While the district was able to meet state requirements for minutes of instruction without making up the two missed school days earlier this month, a makeup day is needed with this third weather-related closure to meet state requirements,” the announcement stated.
