There are several road projects underway in Frisco.

Old Witt Road light installations

Street lights will be installed on Old Witt Road from Witt Road to FM 423.

The project is currently under construction along the road. The construction started at the end of 2022 and will be completed by December.

The project is funded through the city of Frisco for $1.78 million.

Downtown parking improvements


The northwest corner of Oak Street and Second Street is under construction.

The project will construct a parking lot for the downtown Frisco area.

The design phase of the project ended in March, and construction is slated to end no later than the end of September 2024, according Frisco’s Capital Improvement dashboard.

Elm Street construction

Elm Street from First Street to South County Road is under construction, according to Frisco’s Capital Improvement dashboard.


The reconstruction project includes the construction of the road and the addition of parking and pedestrian paths, as part of the Downtown Master Plan.
