The North Central Texas Council of Governments is hosting a public meeting at noon on June 12 about transportation initiatives meant to improve the region’s quality of life.

What to expect

Council staff will provide information about several programs and initiatives during the meeting, including:In addition, staff will provide information about the Juneteenth Museum partnership and administrative revisions to the Mobility 2045: 2022 update.

Council is also seeking public input on the evaluation and establishment of targets for the condition of National Highway System pavement and bridges, according to a news release. Staff will provide updates on state and regional estimates, potential effects of new funding, and coordination efforts.

The meeting will be held at the council’s Arlington offices, located at 616 Six Flags Drive, according to the news release. Residents can also view a live broadcast of the meeting online. A video recording will be made available afterward, according to the council website.

The deadline to submit comments or questions related to the topics that will be discussed is set at 11:59 p.m. July 11.
