Here are four projects that are expected to start in Frisco this summer.

1. Frisco Street construction

Frisco Street will be constructed as a four lane divided roadway, which includes water lines.

The street project spans from Cobb Hill Drive to Panther Creek Parkway, according to Frisco’s monthly capital projects report.

The project is currently in the design phase and is 75% complete.

2. Fields Parkway extension

Fields Parkway will be constructed to a six-lane divided roadway in the coming year.

The project will span from Dallas Parkway to Frisco Street, according to Frisco’s capital projects report.

The project is in the design phase and is anticipated to start construction in July.

3. Lebanon Road widening

Lebanon Road will be widened from a four-lane divided roadway to a six-lane divided roadway.

The project spans from FM 423 to Todd Drive, according to Frisco’s capital projects report.


The project is currently in the design phase and is 40% complete. The project is anticipated to start no later than June.

4. Traffic signal additions

Traffic signals will be added to two intersections this summer.


The traffic signals will be added on Rolater Road at Kings Ridge Road and on Eldorado Parkway at Custer Star Addition, according to Frisco’s capital projects report.
