Transportation update: Frisco’s Rockhill Parkway extension


The first phase of construction to extend Rockhill Parkway will begin soon. The roadway will be extended from Mahard Parkway to west of Legacy Drive and will have six lanes. The second phase of the project, which will also be a six-lane roadway from west of Legacy to Teel Parkway, is set to begin at the end of the year.
Timeline: September 2019-September 2020 (Phase 1), October 2019-June 2020 (Phase 2)
Cost: $16 million (Phase 1), $10 million (Phase 2)
