Transportation updates: Ohio Drive roundabouts

0

While one new roundabout opened to drivers in April, two more roundabouts on Ohio Drive are in the planning stages. The intersections at Gaylord Parkway and Wade Boulevard will be replaced with multilane roundabouts like the one that just opened at Warren Parkway and Ohio Drive.

Construction on the Gaylord roundabout is not expected to start until next year, and the Wade roundabout is slated to begin construction in 2021. The city of Frisco has an information page on how to drive a roundabout at www.friscotexas.gov/roundabout.

Timeline: July 2020-March 2021 (Gaylord and Ohio Drive), January 2021-September 2021 (Wade and Ohio Drive)
Cost: TBD
Funding source: TBD
