The Professional Golfers’ Association of America announced ticket packages for the 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, the first to be held at the national organization’s new home in Frisco.

The championship launches the week of May 24, 2023, and will be played at the Fields Ranch East golf course at PGA Frisco headquarters, according to a news release. PGA has planned five other major golf championships at the course in the next 12 years including the PGA Championship and the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

“The 2023 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship is going to be the inaugural but not the last of the major championships that will be held here at PGA Frisco,” Championship Director Jason Mengel said.

PGA will also offer volunteer opportunities including inside-the-ropes positions, walking scorers and marshals at the championship on a first-come, first-served basis, Mengel said. PGA has about 1,500 volunteer positions that need to be filled, but Mengel said he expects they will fill quickly. More information about signing up for volunteer positions can be found here.

Grounds tickets start at $30 for May 24, 2023, according to Senior PGA’s website. Grounds ticket holders can bring up to four youths, age 17 and under for free, Mengel said. Tickets can be purchased via the Senior PGA website. Construction on the clubhouse and retail district at the PGA headquarters are ongoing with a grand opening expected in April 2023, Mengel said.
