The Alliance of American Football posted a message on its website saying the organization has suspended all operations. The championship game, which was announced March 20 to be coming to Frisco, has been removed from The Star in Frisco's website.

The championship game was going to be held April 27.

"Due to ongoing legal processes, we are unable to comment further or share details about the decision," the message on AAF's website said.

The AAF was a new professional football league in its inaugural season. Made up of eight teams, the league's games were being played during the NFL’s offseason and included local and developing football talent.
