Frisco Family Services just celebrated its 30th anniversary of supporting Frisco and Frisco ISD families.

The organization was first founded in February 1994 by a dedicated group of local citizens, according to a Frisco Family Services news release. It is the only food pantry in Frisco and provides more than 686,000 meals each month to more than 4,700 individuals annually.

Frisco Family Services was recognized with a proclamation celebrating its three decades of service during a March 5 Frisco City Council meeting.

Frisco Family Services’ seasonal programs, emergency financial assistance and resale store help Frisco families stabilize their households and become self-sufficient once again, according to the proclamation.
