The nonprofit organization works to prevent homelessness and poverty, and it prevented evictions and utility disconnections for over 1,000 families, according to the release.
Robinson has more than 20 years of business experience as an entrepreneur and consultant, according to the release.
“I am committed to building upon our recent successes and further expanding our reach to help even more individuals and families in need,” Robinson said in the release. “In the long term, I envision the Assistance Center becoming a beacon of hope and support for our community, where every person in Collin County facing financial crisis can find the assistance, education and resources they need to thrive.”
