Transportation updates

1. Dallas Parkway

Construction continues on an additional lane on northbound and southbound Dallas Parkway from SH 121 to Lebanon Road. Construction includes intersection improvements at Warren Parkway and Lebanon Road. The second phase of the improvement project from Lebanon Road to Eldorado Parkway is in the planning phase. A third phase is also being planned from Eldorado Parkway to Panther Creek Parkway. Timeline: January 2016-June 2017 (SH 121 to Lebanon Road), TBD (Lebanon Road to Eldorado Parkway), TBD (Eldorado Parkway to Panther Creek Parkway) Cost: $11.5 million (SH 121 to Lebanon Road), $5.1 million (Lebanon Road to Eldorado Parkway), TBD (Eldorado Parkway to Panther Creek Parkway) Funding sources: city of Frisco, Collin County and Texas Department of Transportation

2. US 380

Construction continues to widen US 380 from five lanes to six lanes. The first phase of the project from Lovers Lane to Custer Road is now completed, with the second phase, from CR 26 to Lovers Lane, at 40 percent completion. The third phase, from CR 26 to Loop 288, is in the design phase. No start date for construction has been determined. 3. Coit Road

The design phase to widen Coit Road from Rockhill Parkway to US 380 is near completion, with construction beginning this fall. The project will widen Coit Road to a four-lane divided roadway. Timeline: October 2017-September 2018 Cost: $5.2 million Funding sources: city of Frisco and TxDOT

4. 4th Army Drive

The first phase of the 4th Army Drive project, which includes a connector road from Lebanon Road to Stewart Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, is almost complete. The second phase, which consists of constructing a two-lane roadway with a bridge from the water treatment plant to Timber Ridge Drive, is about 15 percent complete. Timeline: August 2015-June 2017 (Lebanon Road to the water treatment plant), December 2016-June 2018 (the plant to Timber Ridge Drive) Cost: $3.2 million (Lebanon Road to the water treatment plant), $11.3 million (the plant to Timber Ridge Drive) Funding source: city of Frisco
