As of Aug. 25, Lavon Lake was 1.74 feet below its full pool level of 492 feet. The lake is about half a foot lower than the same date in 2015 and nearly 10 feet higher than the same date in 2014.
The city of Frisco recommends keeping sprinkler systems turned off and watering only once a week when watering is needed.
During daylight saving time, no watering is allowed 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
