Teso Life will open its 10th Japanese department store by the end of 2022 in Frisco.

The 10,385-square foot building, which is currently undergoing renovations, will be a part of the second phase of NewQuest Properties’ Frisco Ranch development off Warren Parkway and Preston Road in Frisco. Three future tenants that have yet to be named will be located next to the store which was once occupied by Stereo East Home Theater.

“We received great feedback on the Carrollton store and thought Frisco could be a great spot, especially since many of our customers already drive from Frisco to our Carrollton store,” general manager of Teso Life Cy Kwok said.

The New York City-based company’s first store outside of New York is in the Carrollton Town Center development also managed by NewQuest Properties. Kwok said its relationship with the real estate agency also contributed to the decision to come to Frisco Ranch. Teso Life has plans to expand to Arizona, Georgia and Maryland within the next few years, according to Kwok. www.tesolife.com
