Tumbles Frisco, a gymnastics center for kids, is opening the second week of June on Preston Road in the Preston Stonebrook Center. The facility offers children’s gym classes, STEAM classes, parties and summer camps for ages 4 months-12 years old. It will be located at 7151 Preston Road, Ste. 135A.

“Nobody does gym activities and classroom curriculum like Tumbles,” owner Shankar Gopal said.

Gopal is a first-time owner of a Tumbles location and chose to open a franchise of the company because he said he wants to get kids active and engage their minds.

“We are looking forward to supporting the fitness needs of the children in our community,” Gopal said.

Gopal noted businesses such as Gideon Learning Center and Emler Swim School of Frisco in the shopping center bring kids to the plaza, making it an ideal location.

This summer, Tumbles will offer summer camps Monday through Friday from 1-4 p.m. Each week the camp will have a different theme, and planned camps include ninja warriors, sports and gymnastics. 469-200-5122. www.frisco.tumbles.net
