Genesis Metro Church has begun construction on a new building at 3330 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco. Currently located at a former plumbing supply warehouse on John W. Elliott Drive, the church said in an announcement that its new campus “will provide a permanent facility, enabling [Genesis Metro Church] to continue to grow."

The church first purchased 12 acres on Eldorado Parkway in February 2019, the announcement stated. According to pastor Tim Bourne, the new campus is placed at a “strategic location” near Newman Elementary School and will share parking and outdoor facilities with the school.

“Genesis Metro has invested in the city of Frisco for nearly 20 years,” pastor Tim Bourne said in the announcement. “My family is proud to reside here and witness firsthand the incredible growth of our city.”

A public groundbreaking ceremony is set for 10:30 a.m. on March 27. An expected completion date has not been shared.
