Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center is adding a “state-of-the-art” basketball court to its facilities, according to a news release.

Nancy Lieberman Charities and The Adleta Corporation will break ground on the outdoor court, called the DreamCourt, on Nov. 29. The groundbreaking ceremony will start at 2:30 p.m.

The court is being built in honor of Scottish Rite for Children’s 100 year anniversary, while Nancy Lieberman Charities is celebrating its 100th DreamCourt in the nation.

“The state-of-the-art basketball court will provide youth an opportunity to practice teamwork and build character, reflecting the commitment of local community partners,” the release said.

Construction on the high school regulation-sized court is expected to be complete by the spring of 2022, according to the release.
