New shopping center coming to west Frisco in spring 2022

A new shopping center with space for 15 stores will open in west Frisco near FM 423 sometime in spring 2022. The owner of the center, Lotus Commercial Ventures, said it is too soon to tell what businesses are planning to lease office space.

Bodybar Pilates studio now open in Keller

Bodybar Pilates opened in Keller on Feb. 13 at 1400 Keller Parkway, Ste. 200, Keller. The studio offers group fitness classes using Pilates principles.



IHOP now open in Keller

IHOP opened its first Keller location at 700 N. Tarrant Parkway, Keller, on Feb. 12. It serves the chain’s signature breakfast-all-day menu as well as lunch and dinner.

Interskate Roller Rink offers chance for indoor recreation in Lewisville

Owner Luther Bernstein said he will fight to keep the doors open at his skating rink, Interskate Roller Rink, in this difficult economic climate. To keep everyone safe, the business requires visitors to wear masks throughout the building, including while skating, he said.


Kegs & Mugs beer garden in Castle Hills draws inspiration from Europe, India

When Anand Peri opened Kegs & Mugs in March of 2019, he was intent on providing a European-style beer garden in the Castle Hills area. Now, nearly a year into the coronavirus pandemic, Peri said he is working to let people know his business is still here.

Apricot Lane Boutique to open in downtown McKinney in June

Apricot Lane Boutique is expected to open the first week of June at 110 W. Virginia St., McKinney. The national-brand boutique will offer fashion apparel and accessories.


Frisco's Bottled in Bond to expand, add upscale lounge

Bottled in Bond Cocktail Parlour & Kitchen is working on an expansion project that will include leasing out another suite to add to its location at 5285 Dallas Parkway, Ste. 420, Frisco, and transform it into an upscale lounge.

Zagg now open at Southlake Town Square

Zagg opened Feb. 1 in Southlake Town Square. The franchise is known for its screen protectors and phone repair services.
