Mattito's Tex-Mex and Tavolo Italia both closed Monday at 6129 Main St., Frisco. "We've been battling all the changes up there in Frisco for nine years," owner Jeff Frankel said. "It's just finally enough's enough." Frankel opened Tavolo next to his Mattito's location in Frisco in 2016. Mattito's, which still has four locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, serves Tex-Mex cuisine. Tavolo was an upscale Italian restaurant with a single location in Frisco.
