The Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission approved a preliminary site plan Tuesday for a Texas Health Resources hospital at the southeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Cobb Hill Drive.
The 325,000-square-foot hospital is planned to be called Texas Health Frisco. The 74-bed acute-care facility will sit on about 9 acres and include a 24/7 emergency room, surgical services, women’s services and a neonatal intensive care unit. A 120,000-square-foot medical office building with a 90,000-square-foot clinic is also planned for the campus.
Plans submitted to the city show the hospital is planned to have eight stories, and the medical office building will have four stories. A four-story parking garage paired with surface parking is also planned for the campus.
The hospital is planned to open in 2019, according to the THR
website.
Texas Health Frisco would be the fourth hospital in Frisco.
