Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Frisco, one of the first hospitals in Frisco, received a new designation in 2016.

The Joint Commission, an independent nonprofit that accredits and certifies health care organizations, certified Baylor Medical Center at Frisco as a Center of Excellence in joint replacement in June 2016. The hospital includes the Joint Replacement Center, which is designed to provide care for patients who undergo joint replacement.
