Repairs are nearly complete at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Centennial after a recent water leak caused electrical issues at the hospital.

On April 26 a water pipe burst that forced the hospital to evacuate 27 patients and transport them to area hospitals. The water leak also caused power outages.

According to the hospital’s administration, repairs to the pipe and electrical system began immediately, and the hospital was once again fully operational within a few days.

Although the repairs to the pipe and electrical system have been completed, the hospital still continues to repair areas damaged by the leak. Those repairs are expected to be complete in early June.
