The project, called Preston Promenade in city documents, was taken up by the Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission at its meeting April 22.
The details
The development is set to include a convenience store with gas pumps and a drive-through, a full-service carwash, nine restaurants, four office buildings and two hotels. Three of the restaurants are expected to include drive-throughs.
The project will sit on 12 lots on about 38 acres of land on the northeast corner of Preston Road and Panther Creek Parkway.
What else?
A preliminary site plan for the project was approved by the commission in January. What the commission approved in April was the plat for the development. The commission has final authority over plats and site plans.
The site plan includes 166,638 square feet, which makes up about 10% of the property.
If given final approval, the open space in the development will include amenities such as:
- pedestrian monuments
- raised planters
- water features
- shade structures
