From simulated golf to indoor skiing, several entertainment and sports businesses have recently opened or are coming soon in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Slick City Action Park to offer indoor dry slides, other activities in Frisco

The indoor park will offer a variety of slides including Fast Lane, which features a race component and Avalanche, which incorporates course navigation. Other activities will include Junior Jungle, a multi-level playground exclusively for guests under 45 inches tall, and Freestyle Air Court, which is a multi-use air court where guests can perform parkour tricks and more.

Golf Everywhere to start construction this summer in Flower Mound


The campus covers 7.74 acres and consists of four buildings. The main building will contain an indoor golf course facility with 40 driving range bays, a short game area and the ability to play over 300 rounds of golf a day. Golf Everywhere is slated to begin construction this summer and potentially open in Flower Mound 2027.

Shredder Indoor Ski & Snowboard School offers classes in Richardson

The business primarily offers ski and snowboarding classes designed for children, but also has beginner classes for adults. It also offers open gym sessions for practice between lessons and the facility can be rented out for birthday parties.

Dave & Buster’s, EoS Fitness slated for late 2025 opening in McKinney’s Plaza at Fort Buckner development


A fitness center, entertainment offerings and more will be available later this year when the second phase of the Plaza at Fort Buckner development is completed. The second phase of the Plaza at Fort Buckner development will see businesses open by Dec. 15, 2025.

The Green Room brings indoor golfing experience to Argyle

The indoor golfing facility will include four simulator bays, a putting area and TOURPUTT, an artificial intelligence program to help golfers practice. The facility will be open 24 hours, seven days a week. There will be golf classes for 3-6-year-olds, youth, ladies and adults at all different skill levels. Additionally, the golf facility offers leagues, 8-week camps with a coaching lesson each week, tournaments, golf retail and events.

New business Claw Zone set for northeast Plano


Claw Zone is set to open at the corner of Legacy Drive and North Central Expressway, according to signage on the building’s door. The new business will be located next to Nishiki Ramen and Bros Saigon Kitchen.
