Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to shift to cashless parking exits

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport will make changes to its parking gates starting Feb. 1. A social media post from Jan. 13 informed travelers of the transition to cashless exits at the parking plazas at the north and south entries.

Hwy. 114 to be under construction starting Jan. 29

The expansion of Hwy. 114 by the Texas Department of Transportation will result in a traffic switch from Jan. 29-30. The expansion project runs from I-35W to US 377 between Roanoke and Fort Worth.


Methodist Celina Medical Center to open this spring

Celina’s first hospital is expected to open before the end of March. Once open, the hospital will immediately begin providing emergency and critical care services with plans to offer additional women’s health options such OB-GYN services in August.

Venu finalizes land purchase from city of McKinney for Sunset Amphitheater project

The land sale for the Sunset Amphitheater coming to McKinney has been completed. The 20,000-seat entertainment venue will be located on a 46-acre tract of land at the northeast corner of US 75 and SH 121, near the Sheraton McKinney.


The Ridge at Northlake undergoes final phases of development

The master planned community in town has entered its final phases of construction. The project, which is being done in five phases, is expected to be completed in three years, with some residents already living in the development.

Chobani company announces relocation into Frisco Hall Park development

The New York City-based Greek yogurt company Chobani is moving to Frisco. Chobani signed a lease for 28,674 square feet of office space in the Hall Park development’s newest office building, known as The Tower at Hall Park, according to a news release from the development.
