Frisco City Council member Angelia Pelham was sworn into her second consecutive Place 3 term on June 4.

Pelham officially took office a few weeks earlier following the results of the May 4 election, where she secured 8,963 votes, or 64.46%.

“I am honored to lead this city,” Pelham said. “Moreover, I am honored to be a part of this community.”

Looking back

Pelham was first elected as council’s Place 3 member in 2021. This is her second term, and her term will run through May 2027.

“It is no small feat when you decide that you’re going to run for any elected position, but certainly running for a local position here in Frisco has proven to be quite challenging,” Pelham said.
