A new Main Street brewery and venue space is one step closer to opening.

Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission members unanimously approved an open space and site plan for a Rollertown Brewery during an Oct. 10 meeting.

The breakdown

Located on 2.9 acres at the northeast corner of John W. Elliott Drive and Main Street, Rollertown Brewery will total 22,820 square feet of space across two buildings.
  • A two-story 13,500 square foot brewery
  • A two-story 9,320 square foot taproom

The brewery and taproom will be connected by a second-story open walkway, according to meeting documents.

The two buildings are designed to provide multiple viewing opportunities of a 20,995 square-foot event lawn and a 720 square-foot stage located along Main Street.

City officials are also exploring some additions to the brewery for patrons to enjoy, including:
  • A glass elevator in the brewery to provide patrons with a unique view of the event lawn space
  • Integrating the silos on the adjacent property into the Rollertown patron’s experience by projecting images of the silos onto a screen

Some context

Frisco City Council members originally entered into a public-private agreement with the owner of Rollertown Beerworks’ owner, Texas RT Holdings, for the brewery in November 2022, according to meeting documents.
