The Collin County Republican Party is hosting a debate for Republican candidates running for Texas Congressional District 3 on Jan. 15.

The event will run from 9 a.m.-noon at Collin College’s McKinney campus, located at 2200 W. University Drive.

Rep. Van Taylor currently represents the 3rd congressional district, which includes Frisco, McKinney, Plano and other Collin County cities.

Candidates scheduled to attend the debate are Suzanne Harp, Keith Self and Rickey Williams. Jeremy Ivanovskis is also running for the March 1 primary.

Democratic candidates running for the primary are Doc Shelby and Sandeep Srivastava. A full list of candidates who have filed to run in the March primaries for Collin County elected offices can be found here.


Clubs and candidates may register in advance for an event table. Admission is free for the public.
